8 BLOCKS & 3 COLOURS: ENGLISH VERSION



INTRODUCTION

1. This is a game for 1-4 players. The aim is to overcome a series of challenges by fitting the parts properly.

2. This game encourages spatial thinking and mental agility.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SINGLE PLAYER

3. The player takes one of the 30 puzzle-cards easy level (the green) and try to resolve it by choosing the color blue.

Note: All cards have an advanced level puzzle on one side and a beginner level on the other.

4. The player must to occupy all the colored squares on the card with their puzzle pieces, but only with the parts of the pieces of the chosen color: blue, red or black.

6. Logically, no figures may overlap:


7. Of the eight pieces, you can use the appropriate setting and discard the rest. That is, it is not known, initially, which parts are needed to solve the puzzle.

8. At the end of the first puzzle, the player must take another card and resolve, also in blue. When you complete the 30 cards easy level, will be the turn of resolve in the red color. Finally, the challenge will be to solve in the black color.

Note: Normally, the color blue is easier to resolve, the red is a little harder and black is the most complicated of all. This is why the puzzles are resolved in this order.

9. After completing the 90 entry-level challenges, it is time to move to resolve the advanced cards. The order of colors is the same: first blue, then red and finally black.

10. There is, therefore, 180 challenges ahead, divided into 6 different levels.

MULTI-PLAYER MODE

1- You can play 2-4 players. The goal is to be the first to reach the end of travel (arrival).

2- To begin, each player choose two pawns of the same color. One will be the position indicator. The other is located at the START on the board game box:
3- Each players takes their own puzzle pieces pack (8 pieces).
4- The players choosen to play with beginner or advanced level cards.
5 – The deck of puzzle-cards and the hourglass (a minute and a half) are situated in the center of the table.
6- In any side of the boardgame is placed the cards deck. A number of cards is displayed on the table as the number of players involved (described in paragraph 15)

7– A puzzle-card is dealt to each player. One player (no matter who) starts the hourglass 90 seconds.
8 - Then, each player must solve its puzzle as quickly as possible in the blue color.
9 - As they solve the puzzles, players are leaving their pawn position indicator in the box corresponding position (first in the position 1, the second in the 2nd, etc.).

10 - Following the order established in the previous section, players choose two cards in this way: first catch one, then the 2nd, then 3rd and finally the 4th. Then 1st takes his second card after the 2nd and so on until the 4th.

11 - After advancing his pawn, playing up until two cards from your hand, in this order: 1st makes its advance, after the 2nd, then 3rd and finally the 4th.
Note: To move the pawn to a square, you must play a card of the same color as the box. You can only move the pawn to a square that is within their reach, both horizontally and vertically or diagonally.
The drawing shows the possible squares to which it can move the black pawn. The green arrows indicate the movement that makes the pawn by discarding the purple card first, and the blue card, later.

12- If a player fails to finish his puzzle in time does not take cards or pawn advances in that turn.

13 - The cards are not used accumulate (surely serve another round).

14 - You can take any of the cards are discovered each turn or take a card of the secret deck, where there are special cards (described in paragraph 17)
15 - This is the distribution according to the number of players:

15.1-For 4 players left six cards face
15.2-For three players are left four cards face
15.3-For 2 players are left two cards face
16 - After each round, it resets the number of cards face up. That is, if there must be 6 cards and there are only two, those are left where they are and removed four more.
17 - List of advantages:
Apart from the color charts, there are other cards that give a number of advantages:
You move a box no matter what color. Once used should be discarded
You have the extra piece for the puzzle you choose. Once used should be discarded. There are five differents.
You can get away a little square in the puzzle-card. Once used should be discarded.
You can ride a chip on the other a small square in the puzzle to do. Once used should be discarded.
When you complete your puzzle time is running out and no one else can finish your puzzle. Before using this card game you must to announce it. If you finish the puzzle the last or are not able to finish, you will have wasted the power of this card. In any case, once used should be discarded.
END OF THE GAME

The game ends when a pawn reaches the finish line.
